About the Role We’re looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated ASC support for a Year 2 puipil in a warm and welcoming primary school in Bispham. This is your chance to help a young learner thrive socially, emotionally, and academically in a nurturing environment. ✨

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Providing 1:1 and to an ASC pupil.

  • Delivering creative and engaging activities tailored to individual needs.

  • Collaborating with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt resources and teaching strategies.

  • Promoting positive communication and social skills.

  • Creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive atmosphere.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with children with SEN/ASC (or a keen willingness to learn).

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.

  • A positive, patient, and proactive attitude.

  • ✅ Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
