Teaching Personnel has a role which would be perfect for you!

A school in the Nelson area has approached Teaching Personnel to aid them with the recruitment of a Teacher of Science with a specialism in Biology. The school is in need due to one of their existing Teachers leaving the school suddenly. The school is initially looking for someone to work through the rest of the year, however, the Head would consider the candidate for the role starting in September should they successfully integrate into the department. The School would be looking for the new member of staff to be proactive regarding behaviour management and be comfortable dealing with challenging behaviour in an effective manner.

The role is to start ASAP and is to run through until the end of the year with the successful member of staff to be considered for the role in September. A successful candidate would have excellent knowledge of the KS3/KS4 Biology curriculum. They should be able to plan and deliver effective intervention to GCSE pupils which have been identified for needing additional support.
