If so, one of our Secondary Schools in Preston are currently looking for a Biology teachers to join, for a long term, full time position. The position could potentially become permanent for the right person. The position will be teaching Key Stage 3 and KS4 Biology with a possible mix of other Sciences to Secondary School students, so experience teaching to that level is essential, as is experience within a Secondary School environment. Ideally the school are looking for a Fully Qualified or Newly Qualified Teacher, as long as they have the right experience and enthusiasm.
This is a perfect position for an experienced Biology teacher looking for a new, long term challenge, or a new Biology teacher looking to take their first steps in to teaching.
The School is located in the heart of Preston and is easily accessible via public transport, car and foot. It has close links to the M55 and M6 for candidates who are from outside of Preston.
The Candidate will:
•Have experience in teaching Biology (and other Sciences) across KS3 & KS4
•Hold a valid UK PGCE with QTS
•Have a Science related degree
•Be creative, innovative, inspiring disciplined and adaptable
•Be prepared to plan, mark, assess and create lesson plans which are fun and engaging
