Biology Teacher
Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Timperley
Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time
Primary Industry: Education and Training
Salary: £162 - £251 Per day
Job Duties:
- Deliver engaging and informative biology lessons to students
- Develop and implement lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives
- Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments and exams
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Degree in Biology or a related field
- Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Science
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Biology or relevant subject
- Experience teaching Biology at secondary school level
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of biological concepts and principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage and motivate students in learning
- Organisational skills to plan lessons effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education
- Experience working with diverse student populations
Working Conditions:
- Working hours: Full-Time
- Temporary position
- Classroom-based teaching
- Potential for extracurricular involvement

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
