Biology Teacher

Science Teacher required for an Ofsted outstanding secondary school in Manchester.

Do you have a PGCE in secondary Science? Are you experienced in teaching Science across key stage 3 and GCSE?

Teaching Personnel are working with a secondary school in Stockport who are looking for a Science teacher to join the department with immediate effect. The successful Science teacher will join the department and will teach key stage 3 and key stage 4 science. A specialism in Biology is desirable but the school will consider teachers with alternative specialisms (chemistry/physics). Due to a staff maternity, the school will require the successful applicant to stay within the department until the end of the academic year.

The school is a large mainstream secondary school with academy status with over 1000 pupils on roll. In their most recent Ofsted report the school received 'Outstanding'. The school provides an outstanding education for its students. Their attainment is high and their achievement is outstanding. Students behave well and their rates of attendance are high. The successful science teacher will be available to join the school with immediate effect.

To be considered for this Science teaching role you will need to be/have:

*QTS or NQT status with a specialism in Science

*Experience teaching English across KS3/4

*A passion for teaching your subject and achieving results
