Full time Biology maternity teaching cover - Hounslow - September 2019 start date

£130-£230 - Fully Qualified Science Teacher with experience at key stage 3-5

Science Teacher required to teach KS3-KS5 Science (ideally biology) in a mixed Secondary school in Hounslow. The role would be maternity cover for Biology starting in September 2019.

The school is a large 'outstanding' secondary school with a KS3/KS4/KS5 curriculum - seeking to appoint a Science teacher for maternity cover.

About the role:

  • An mixed secondary school in Hounslow is looking for a Science Teacher,
  • Qualified Teacher with experience delivering lessons at KS3 - KS5 level would be required.
  • The school will also welcome applications from NQTs looking to develop their teaching ability and behaviour control
  • It is a good rated school, with few changes needed to achieve outstanding, with excellent facilities and a strong leadership

About you:

If you are passionate about pupils' development and enthusiastic to take on a new challenge, then you are the type of candidate we would like to speak to. Additionally, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status
  • Experience teaching with the UK curriculum
  • Can provide two valid classroom based references
  • Overseas qualified teachers are welcome to apply, provided they can obtain an Overseas Criminal Clearance, or similar

Candidates who will be put forward will have experience and the relevant qualifications.
