Behaviour Teaching Assistant- Tameside

Teaching Personnel are seeking a Behaviour Teaching Assistant to work at our partner secondary school in Tameside from September. This new Behaviour Teaching Assistant position represents an exciting opportunity for someone with previous experience of challenging disengaged behaviour to work in a secondary school environment.

The incoming Behaviour Teaching Assistant will initially join the school until Christmas so that suitability for the role can be determined.

Specific job duties-

  • To promote positive behaviour across all year groups
  • To be the assigned 'key-worker' for identified pupils
  • To challenge any disengaged behaviour through the positive behaviour management strategies

The role-

Due to additional funding being allocated to the pastoral department, our partner school wish to add a Behaviour Teaching Assistant to their team. This role will specifically focus on promoting positive behaviour across all year groups. At present, the school have a higher than average proportion of pupils who require the pupil premium funding.
