Are you looking for a new job?
Do you want to make a real and noticeable difference?
Can you remain calm in challenging circumstances?
Teaching Personnel are pleased to be recruiting for a Behaviour Support Worker in a Salford PRU for pupils aged 11-14. Pupils from this school usually have a diagnosis of Social, Emotional or Mental Health needs. Most have had a disrupted school life and fall below the expected learning levels for children of their age nationally so the school is actively seeking a Behaviour Support to assist and nurture these pupils. To support you during your time at the school is the schools' excellent team of mentors, a family liaison coordinator, a senior youth worker, form tutors and TA's. The ideal candidate for this role would be someone with
- A determined and caring personality
- A commitment to helping vulnerable young people
- The ability to stay calm in difficult situations.
Your role at the school would be to work on a 1:1 basis or with small groups in order to assist with their learning, deescalate situations or provide a nurturing role to the pupils. You will be instrumental in helping the pupils gain the necessary skills to progress both academically and socially, meaning better futures for them.
If you feel this would be the role for you or you would be interested in a similar role, then feel free to contact Dan at Teaching Personnel () at your earliest convenience.
What you can expect from Teaching Personnel:
- A dedicated consultant to discuss current or future roles with you
- An extensively discounted CPD program
- Payment in house, meaning no fees from Umbrella companies
- £9.50 an hour or above
- 13 weeks off per year.
