Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel work closely with a School based in the Burnley area, the School is smaller than average and caters specifially for KS2 - 4 pupils with SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD, ODD, FASD, Conduct Disorder and challenging behaviours. The School are hoping to appoint a hard working, empathetic, enthusiastic and engaging Teaching Assistant to work with pupils who have additional learning needs. The School is based centrally in the Burnley area and caters for pupils who are no longer in mainstream education for a number of reasons, often related to behaviour. The candidate sucessful for this role must be willing to work with pupils who can display challenging beahviours. 

Candidates applying for this role must be confident in their behaviour management skills, have experience supporting pupils with additional needs and / or challenging behaviours. Candidates must be willing to work with pupils who are struggling with their mental health and due to this, often can be challenging in their behaviours. Ideally, candidates will be Team Teach trained, or willing to complete their Team Teach qualification. 

The sucessful candidate will benefit from: 

- Negotiable pay rates GBP57 - 67 per day

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
