Teaching Personnel are working closely as recruitment partners for a large modern secondary school in Rochdale to appoint a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to join the school in September. This is a full time position and will be ongoing until at least the academic year, with the option of being permanently appointed by the school.
- FULL TIME POSITION AS A BEHAVIOUR SUPPORT TEACHING ASSISTANT
- SUPPORTING PUPILS ON A 1:1 AND GROUP BASIS, REDUCING THEIR RISK OF BEING PERMANENLTY EXCLUDED FROM MAINSTREAM EDUCATION
- FURTHER DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH TEACHING PERSONNEL'S CPD COURSES
- WORKING AT A LARGE MODERN SECONDARY SCHOOL IN ROCHDALE
We are seeking a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to join our client school in Rochdale to help support a number of pupils who have been identified as being on the verge of being permanently excluded from mainstream education. You will be required to support these pupils on a 1:1 and a group basis, assisting them with any issues they may have and encouraging them to improve their engagement with the curriculum and adhere to the schools behaviour policy. This may also involve offering further support for example helping them with any learning related issues they have and supporting them within a classroom setting.
