Behaviour Support - Oldham
Are you looking for a rewarding career in education supporting students that are at risk of being withdrawn from education?
Our client secondary school in Oldham is looking for a motivational and caring Behaviour Support worker to support one of their students from September 2019. This is an on-going role supporting a challenging student that is at risk of being excluded permanently from mainstream education.
- Full time Behaviour Support worker required from September 2019
- On-going role during term time
- Popular and oversubscribed academy in Oldham
- Earn up to £1300 per month (dependent on experience)
Our client school based in the Springhead and Lees area of Oldham opened in 2010 when two local secondary schools merged, moving to a new state-of-the-art building. The school has good transport links, with it being close to the M60 motorway and also has good public transport access. The school has over 1000 students that benefit from the excellent facilities, and has strong, reputable links with the local community.
Working at our client school as a Behaviour Support worker, you will be expected to:
- Have a positive influence on a the student that you are supporting
- Help students to fulfil their potential
- Have several key competencies including patience and resilience
Although experience in this role isn't essential, it would be beneficial. If you have experience in youth and support work, you may have many transferable skills for this role.
