2. Behaviour Support Mentor – Wakefield (WF1)

Daily Rate: £90–£105/day | Contract: Temp-to-perm | Start: ASAP

A specialist provision in central Wakefield is looking for a Behaviour Support Mentor to work with pupils aged 11–19 who have social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.

Key duties:

  • Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils at risk of exclusion

  • Provide de-escalation and behaviour management strategies

  • Support academic and vocational activities

  • Act as a mentor and role model

  • Ex-forces, ex-police, sports coaches, youth workers

  • Candidates with experience in behaviour or SEN support
