A lovely School in South East London is looking to take on proactive and encouraging Behaviour Support staff with a background in sport.

The rate is £60 - £75 a day, depending on experience, and set to increase over time. Rates are subject to experience and training.

This is a full time role 8:30am - 3:20pm - Monday to Friday.

Information on the school:

The school offers provision for 7-14 year olds (Key Stages 2 and 3) who have Social, Emotional Mental Health.

The students have often missed education as a result of their behaviour or because of specific learning difficulties, so the school looks for staff who are able to raise attainment.

The school's ethos is to create an atmosphere of mutual respect and resilience that supports our students to grow into purposeful young adults, so they are able to contribute to society in a positive way. They welcome anyone who wants to work hard with students and staff to create a safe and happy learning environment.

To be considered for the role of behaviour support at the Bromley site you must have previous experience working with children.

Additional Requirements:

- A child workforce DBS on the updated system.

- Safeguarding training.

- At least 1 year experience working with pupils in SEN provisions.

Behaviour Support Assistant Role: 1:1

  • promote high standards in reading, writing and mathematics
  • allow students to develop a knowledge of themselves and their environment
  • enable students to acquire knowledge and skills in science
  • enable students to be confident in the use of ICT
  • promote spiritual, moral, social and cultural development
  • promote physical and mental development and an awareness of the importance of a healthy lifestyle
  • enable students to be aware of the importance of and participate in the arts
  • develop the personal and social skills of each child
  • provide equality of access and the opportunity for all students to make progress
  • prepare students for the opportunities, responsibilities and experience of adult life.
