Do you have experience dealing with challenging behaviour pupils?

Are you looking for a new exciting challenge in 2021?

At Teaching Personnel we currently have a high demand for Behaviour Assistants to offer 1:1 support for secondary school pupils with Emotional, Social, Mental Health and Behavioural Difficulties. This is a full time role starting in September 2021, with the opportunity to move onto a permanent contract for the right candidate.

The school in Colchester strives to create opportunities for every pupil to develop to his or her maximum potential and strive to deliver an outstanding service to all pupils and their parents

The  pupils at the school will predominantly present with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties. A significant number of our pupils are on the Autism spectrum and many of our pupils have additional developmental and learning needs.

You must have experience supporting students who can display very challenging behaviour, however, this does not have to be in a school-based environment. Teaching Personnel also recruit candidates who have undertaken youth work, supported young offenders or those at risk of re-offending and those who have worked in secure or medical units. You must have the ability to build a rapport with a non-judgemental attitude and be passionate about improving the lives of young people.

If this sounds like something you are interested in please apply now or contact Summer at the Essex branch for more information.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
