Behaviour Support Assistant

1:1 Support Assistant Seaford

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a 1:1 Support Assistant for a Primary School in the Seaford Area. The position will initially be full time until October half term; but could be longer for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Experience working with children who have social, emotional and mental health difficulties
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work alongside others
• The ability to follow instructions and to work independently when required
• Up to date Safeguarding Training
• Experience working with children with challenging behaviour
• A patient and empathetic approach with the ability to understand and sympathise with a child’s emotions
• Team Teach Training would be preferable but is not essential to the role
