Teaching Personnel are looking for an equally resilient and compassionate candidate to work as a Behavioural Support Assistant at school housing young offenders. The pupils are aged 10-17 and often come from deprived backgrounds, with SENs relating to SEMH and trauma from their past. The residence has received the highest OFSTED ratings for the past 10 years due to the incredible support system provided by the staff there. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate such excellence through their adept communication and interpersonal skills, contributing towards the continued high standard of care delivered at the school.
Main responsibilties would involve:
- Intervening when pupil's behaviour is problematic
- Explaining the chain of events leading to such behaviour and steps needed to address it
- Reporting back to the relevant parties to promote a high standard of care among staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
