One of Teaching Personnel’s partner secondary schools are looking for a Teaching Assistant who has challenging behaviour-based experience. This role requires someone who can work on a full-time basis and start as soon as possible. The school are based within the CF24 area and are offering GBP10 an hour.
Since the impact of COVID-19 the school has seen a rise of behavioural needs within the school. Change has shown to impact the most vulnerable students in a drastic way. The school are aiming to bring a Teaching Assistant into the school who can form a positive relationship with the student to help them cope with daily school life.
The Ideal Teaching Assistant will…
- Start as soon as possible and work on a full-time basis
- Not afraid of pressured situations that will arise throughout
- Have experience in a care, sport or childcare capacity
- Be willing to undertake tasks given
- Be willing to take out a DBS and EWC registration
In the heart of the school they have a base unit where all vulnerable students attend for additional support. The school require someone who is willing to work within this base and also support aspects of mainstream education, this is important to the school as it creates independence for the pupil you will be supporting. Elements of the role will require you to work on a 1:1 basis with the pupil and with smaller groups in the base unit.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
