Behaviour Support Assistant

KS3 Behaviour TA – Bude – October 2020

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with two Secondary schools in the Bude area, who are seeking behaviour specialist Teaching Assistants to work on a 1:1 basis supporting KS3/4 pupils.

The role:

The roles are to start after the October HT break, ideally full time but part time hours may be considered for the right candidates and will continue through until the end of the academic year 2021.

The successful candidates will support the educational and pastoral needs of students in KS3/4 displaying challenging behaviour and learning difficulties.

The ideal candidate:

You will be qualified to Level 3 or above and have experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour or SEN on a 1:1 basis. You will be resilient, demonstrate excellent communication skills and work well as part of a team.

Candidates that have the following backgrounds get on well; Sports Coach, Care Worker, Youth Worker & Outdoor Education teams

To be considered for this role you will:

• Have recent and relevant experience in a KS3/4 TA role.
• Either CACHE Level 3 or relevant degree
