Are you passionate about supporting students with diverse behavioural needs? Do you have experience working with children in a school setting and a keen interest in fostering positive behaviour?
As a Behaviour Support Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with challenging behaviours, helping them engage more positively in their learning. Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff, you will be providing one-on-one support for students, implementing strategies to manage behaviour, and ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed in a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with individual behaviour plans
- Work closely with teachers and staff to implement behaviour management strategies
- Provide tailored support to help students engage and achieve academically
- Monitor and track students’ progress and well-being
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all students
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in a school or support role, particularly with students with special educational needs
- Knowledge of behaviour management techniques and strategies
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to working with children
- A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
