Behaviour Support Assistant – Portsmouth
Full-time | Term-time only | Start ASAP
We’re looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant to join a welcoming, inclusive school in Portsmouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a team that believes every child deserves the opportunity to succeed, no matter what challenges they face.
What you’ll be doing:

Supporting students with behavioural and emotional needs, helping them stay focused and engaged in class. 
- 
Working one-to-one or in small groups to build trust, boost confidence, and encourage positive choices. 
- 
Collaborating closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to create a supportive, consistent environment. 
- 
Celebrating small wins every day – because progress comes in all shapes and sizes. 
- Maintaining and upholding all safeguarding policies and protocols.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
