Behaviour Support Assistant

Teaching Personnel are working extremely close with an Special Educational Needs School in the Mackworth area of Derbyshire.

The School are looking for a dedicated candidate that is available to work full time once Schools re open and is flexible to support them in different classes across the school if necessary.

The school cater from students from Nursery through to Year 6 with a range of SEN such as Autism, ADHD, SEMH and Challenging Behaviour. The School is rated OUTSTANDING by Ofsted and is very well known in the area - it has a fantastic reputation. 

The ideal candidate: 

• Experience working with a range of SEN such as Autism, PMLD and Complex Needs 
• Comfortable working with a variety of age groups 
• Able to work on both a 1:1 basis and a small group basis
• Knowledge and Experience in Makaton and PECs 
• Have a very nurturing and supportive style to education
