  • Offering 1:1 and small-group mentoring sessions to students who need additional behavioural, social, or emotional support.
  • Working closely with pastoral leaders, SENCOs, and teaching staff to tailor support strategies for students.
  • Supporting students with SEND needs through individualised support, care plans, and tailored interventions.
  • Acting as a trusted adult and role model, helping students to re-engage with learning and school life.
  • Monitoring progress and wellbeing, feeding into reviews and reports to support ongoing development.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking resilient, empathetic, and enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning.

You will ideally have:

  • Experience working with children or young people in a school or youth work setting.
  • Strong behaviour management skills and an ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • A proactive, flexible, and compassionate approach to supporting diverse needs.
  • Experience or understanding of special educational needs (SEN) and how to provide effective 1:1 support.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a supportive and forward-thinking staff team.
  • Receive ongoing training and professional development in behaviour support and SEN strategies.
  • Work in a school that values your input, recognises your impact, and invests in your growth.
  • Join a setting where no two days are the same, but every day matters.
