Behaviour Support Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our client’s dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Bolton.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for those wishing to support pupils with behavioural needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted support to individual pupils or small groups, predominantly those with SEND that can also require support with their behaviour
• Monitor student progress and behaviour, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
• Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Engage in ongoing training, mentoring, and professional development throughout the academic year.
• Implementing interventions for identified students
• Supporting students who may be excluded from lessons

This role offers a comprehensive introduction to working in education, including regular feedback and CPD opportunities.

Previous experience working or volunteering with children or young people is essential. Any prior experience specifically in a behaviour support is desirable.
