Behaviour Support Assistant / Behaviour TA Scarborough

• Behaviour Support Assistant required in central Scarborough
• Immediate start or February Half Term 2019
• Full Time or Part Time Considered

The Job Role

You will be supporting 11-16 year old pupils who have been excluded from mainstream Schools in the North Yorkshire vicinity. This will be on a 1:1 basis and with small groups of students, up to 4 students. Your objective will be to engage students who have been out of education for long period of times, or are un-motivated to participate in full time education. There may be times working off-site, where you will be assisted by another Behaviour Assistant or Teacher. You will be helping the students complete pre planned work across the national curriculum including Functional Skills, Key Stage 3 and GCSE English, Maths and Science. With this is mind, you should hold the GCSE equivalent of at least a C in Maths, English and Science.
