Behaviour Mentors Required

Full-time behaviour mentors required for additional support within a mainstream primary school in Robertsbridge- immediate start.

Are you available for work and looking to utilise your experience in a primary schools? If so, Teaching Personnel are currently working with a partner primary school in Robertsbridge that are looking to recruit a number of behaviour mentors on a flexible full time basis to support class teachers with identified pupils.

Due to a pastoral focus of the inclusion team at the school, the head teacher wishes to appoint a number of behavioural teaching assistants who are able to support pupil engagement in lessons across a range of core subjects, especially with the summer examinations approaching. This is an exciting position for someone with a background working with challenging behaviour to make a huge difference to pupil's futures.

Your role as a behaviour mentor in the classroom will require you provide extra support to identified pupils who are falling behind, in smaller groups or on a 1:1 basis. You will act as a learning role model and so the ideal candidate will have experience in youth work, coaching or social care.
