Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants who are interested in working with pupils who display social, emotional and behavioural needs, for all of the Pupil Referral Units that we are working with in the Swansea area.

We are looking for confident and friendly people who would be happy to work in both the primary and secondary classes, as well as on a 1:1 basis.

We are looking for staff who:

  • Are able to support all age groups effectively,
  • Are confident and quick thinking,
  • Are able to support small groups and pupils on a one to one basis,
  • Are able to work closely with the teaching staff and other teaching assistants within the classroom,
  • Have a DBS on the update system (This can be done through Teaching Personnel),
  • Are registered with the EWC (This can be done through Teaching Personnel),
  • Can provide 2 recent references,

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
