Behaviour Mentor - South Manchester

Do you have experience working with young people who have behavioural or learning difficulties?

This is an opportunity for a rewarding Behaviour Mentoring position within an outstanding Manchester secondary school.

A secondary school is seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join their teaching team after May half term. This vacancy is for a full time, on going Behaviour Mentor position. The vibrant school is seeking a Behaviour Mentor who will be able to work closely with a cohort of pupils across the year groups, in a pastoral role. The successful Behaviour Mentor will be able to build relationships with the pupils, and work through their problems taking an empathetic approach.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will be working closely with pupils in a secondary school setting, working through a range of personal issues. You will be offering support and making a difference in young people's lives, helping them through personal issues and aiding them in their education. The successful Behaviour Mentor will display great positivity and the ability to communicate effectively with young people, as well as being a positive role model.

  • Behaviour Mentor role available
  • Full time, on going position, starting after May half term
  • Pay rate £60 - £80 per day depending on experience

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
