Start: Monday 24th February following the half term
Any experience of mentoring students is highly desirable. This secondary school situated in the heart of Warrington is looking to take on a Behaviour Mentor who is available on a full time basis until the end of the academic year (July 2020). The school has an internal resource centre where students are internally excluded and it is the role of the successful Behaviour Mentor to work with these students in particular.
Key aspects of the Behaviour Mentor role:
- Pay ranging between GBP285 – GBP325 per week dependent upon prior experience
- Work within a successful and thriving SEN department, working closely with the SENCO and entire team of support staff
- Full time opportunity to start on Monday 24th February for the remainder of the school year
- Work with students of all age ranges and abilities
- Positive and supportive school that are invested in providing support to all students to minimise disruption
- Gain valuable experience at a successful Warrington based secondary school
The successful candidate will ideally have experience of working with hard to reach students that are disengaged with their learning. This experience may have from a youth worker setting or perhaps in another school based role, either bringing with them transferable skills and experience. This school has a strong support network and is specifically looking for a motivated individual who is looking for a longer term career position.
This Warrington based secondary school is situated in the heart of Warrington, close to the main centre. The train station is therefore within commutable distance as well as the A57 and M62 servicing the school well.
