Behaviour Mentor- Solihull based secondary school
Hours: Full Time, term-time only (8:30-15:30)
Location: Solihull, B91
Rate of Pay: £90-100 (dependent upon experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Do you have a passion for supporting children and young people? Behaviour mentor's play a pivotal role within the school environment to support the most vulnerable children and to assist them with overcoming various learning and personal challenges.
If you have experience within youth work, childcare settings, schools or mentoring then this may be the next step in your exciting career!
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored 1:1 and small group interventions to support students at risk of exclusion, to help provide continuity of learning
- Provide coping mechanisms for individuals who struggle to engage with full class learning
- Work in collaboration with other staff members , including SENCO, teachers, teaching assistants to create an inclusive and safe learning space
- Monitor behaviour plans and support wider-school initiatives

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
