Behaviour Mentor, Garstang

Teaching Personnel are the leading national education recruitment agency in the UK and we are currently looking to appoint a Behaviour Mentor in one of our partner schools. The school is based between Preston and Lancaster, on the outskirts of Garstang and they are seeking a hard working, empathetic, experienced and confident Behaviour Mentor to support pupils accross KS2 - 4 with additional learning needs. The school cater for pupils with SEMH Difficulties, Autism, Anxiety, ADHD and ODD and most of the pupils will display challenging behaviours.

The School are looking to appoint a full time member of staff from the beginning of the new academic year and candidates must be experienced in working with pupils who can display difficult behaviours. The School are looking for a hard working candidate with a passion for enriching the lives of pupils who are often harder to reach.

The role will be full time and candidates applying for this role must be able to work from 8.40am - 3.30pm Monday - Friday. The role will require candidates to work on a 1:1 basis with very challenging students and liaise with SLT about the behaviour of pupils.

The candidate who is successful for this role will benefit from £60 - 75 per day dependent on experience and the role is likely to continue for the full academic year.
