Behaviour Mentor - Cardiff

We are currently looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant/Behaviour Mentor to join a friendly and supportive team in one of our SEN schools in Cardiff. You will either work one-to-one or with small groups, providing classroom based & extra curricular support to children with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties and other co-habiting disorders.

The ideal candidate :

You must be willing to provide help and support to children with Autism, Challenging Behaviour, Social and Emotional Mental Health and Learning Difficulties. Your role will consist in assisting the class teachers with children in need of additional support mainly in core subjects, but also helping out with their integration and emotional support.

This position is well suited for a creative, compassionate, caring and patient candidate with a good behaviour management, willing to develop their knowledge in the education and special needs sector. We highly recommend for graduates who are willing to make a career in education to apply. The role is a full time and long term position (Monday to Friday, school hours) to start as soon as possible.
