A forward thinking Primary School located in Haslingden are currently seeking a Primary Practitioner with solid experience to apply for the post of a Behaviour Mentor/ Behaviour Support Assistant. The post is for the successful Practitioner to support a child on a 1:1 basis with ADHD and Social and Emotional Difficulties. What you need to know; * Full time Behaviour Mentor post, starting in May 2018 * Join a school with career and professional development opportunities * Previous experience working in a similar setting is essential and Team Teach qualification is preferable * Competitive pay rates starting between £50-£60 a day dependant on experience and working hours As a Behaviour Mentor you will be preparing and delivering learning activities to an alongside monitoring children across attendance, behaviour and achievement. You will also be responsible for providing support for the class Teacher and the school in order to raise standards of achievement for all pupils with behavioural needs. The school is a 'Good' School and are aiming to keep up that standard at their next Ofsted inspection; the Head teacher is keen to appoint new staff to move the school forward. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
