Behaviour Buddy - Wisbech

We are looking for an experienced member of staff to take on a truly unique opportunity supporting a pupil with SEMH on a 1:1 basis in a fantastic Primary School in Wisbech.

The position is due to start shortly after May Half Term and is set to run on in to the new academic year, with the opportunity of being extended further. The role is full time, 5 days a week within school hours.

The school itself is 3 form entry and has excellent facilities to support SEN pupils on both a 1:1 basis, as well as in small groups. This opportunity is great for those who have previous experience supporting individuals with SEMH and are looking to work full-time hours in a mainstream primary school.

Ideal applicants are those with:

• Extensive experience supporting those with SEMH/Behavioural difficulties
• Background in care
• Safeguarding Training
• A drive to help others
• Experience working within a school environment supporting KS1/KS2 pupils
• Teaching Assistant Experience - Primary/Secondary/SEN

In your role you will be expected to actively contribute in class activities, as well as provide 1:1 support to the pupil.
