Behaviour Buddy

A client school in Central Manchester (M15) are looking for a Behaviour Buddy to join their team in KS2. This full time position will be to work with a child who has recently been diagnosed with ADHD on a full time basis. The child will respond well to a strong role model who is able to demonstrate positive behaviours whilst building up a good working relationship. The child copes well academically but can show challenging behaviours which need to be maintained using specific strategies.

This position is to work in a 2 form entry primary school in the Hulme area of Manchester. The school was rated 'GOOD' at it's last OFTSED inspection and was praised for its high quality teaching and the consistent levels of progress that the children make.

This is a full time 1:1 support position which will start ASAP and will run until the end of the academic year. The opportunity for extension may be possible for the right person. If you have experience working with children with specific SEN such as ADHD or have relevant experience then you are encouraged to apply.
