Be the Difference Every Child Deserves – Behaviour Buddy Needed in Blackpool (FY1)
Do you have a passion for positively impacting the lives of children? Are you calm, patient, and resilient, with experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviour?
Teaching Personnel is looking for a dedicated Behaviour Buddy to join a welcoming primary school in Blackpool (FY1). This full-time role is perfect for someone who thrives on helping children overcome barriers and build brighter futures.
Your Role
As a Behaviour Buddy, you’ll:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with behavioural and emotional needs
- Implement tailored strategies to promote positive behaviour and engagement
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to create a supportive learning environment
- Be a consistent, trusted adult for pupils who need structure and encouragement

- A calm, empathetic, and proactive approach
- Confidence in managing behaviour and supporting SEN pupils
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in education, youth work, or care (desirable but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
