What You'll Be Doing

No two days are ever the same!

As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in helping students thrive both academically and personally by:

• Supporting students in lessons on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Helping pupils build confidence and overcome barriers to learning
• Assisting teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
• Supporting students with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), SEMH, and behavioural needs
• Encouraging positive behaviour and celebrating student success
• Becoming a trusted adult who motivates, inspires, and supports young people

We'd Love to Hear From You If You Have Experience In:

• Teaching Assistant roles
• Youth Work
• Sports Coaching
• Care or Support Work
• Residential Childcare
• Mentoring
• Psychology or Education
• Customer-facing roles where you've built strong relationships

Educator Requirements 

The ideal candidate will also require the following or already hold & willing to apply for: (We can help you obtain the below as part of the registration process)

• Enhanced DBS on the update service
• Education Worforce Regulation Registration (EWC)
• Age 18 and over 
• Level 2 Safeguarding Course as part of your onboarding with us 
• A Minimum of 2 proffessional based references which cover a 24-month period of employment (or equivalent)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
