About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students with autism, helping them to achieve their full potential in a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide tailored assistance, ensuring each student receives the guidance they need to succeed.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
✅ Supporting students with autism in their learning, social interactions, and emotional development
✅ Assisting the class teacher in adapting lessons to meet individual needs. You may also be required to support with personal care/toileting
✅ Encouraging independence and confidence in students
✅ Using specialist strategies to support communication and sensory needs
✅ Working collaboratively with parents, teachers, and therapists to ensure the best outcomes

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
