Autism Teaching Assistant – Full-Time (Primary & Secondary) – Salisbury

Are you passionate about supporting pupils with autism and additional learning needs? We are currently seeking a dedicated and resilient Autism Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Salisbury, working across both the primary and secondary age ranges (4–18). This full-time role begins in September 2025 and offers a fulfilling opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the lives of students with a variety of learning needs, including SEN, SEMH, and ASD.

Role Responsibilities
As an Autism Teaching Assistant, you will be:

Supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis across a range of subjects and activities

Assisting in managing behaviour using tailored support strategies

Helping pupils to communicate effectively and access the curriculum

Working closely with teachers, therapists, and support staff to provide a consistent and safe environment

Creating an atmosphere where every child is encouraged to achieve their personal best

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
