Autism specialist teaching assistant needed in the Ealing area!

Duration- The role will operate between 8.30-15.30. Monday-Friday. Full time is preferred; however, part time applicants can still apply.

Pay - £66.30-£75 per day, dependant on experience.

The school is seeking individuals who are passionate about providing the highest standard of care and facilitating opportunities for learning. Previous experience of looking after children with autism would be an advantage however a can-do attitude and commitment to the children and your team is equally as important!

Desirable criteria-

-Experience supporting students on a 1:1 or a 2:1 basis with pupils

-Previous experience supporting students that have Autism is desired but not a necessity.

Main responsibilities within the role-

-Support 1-2 children in a class with autism, and guide them to reaching their full potential

- Actively plan and join in play and youthful activities, e.g., ball games, messy play and music

-Keep records and write reports when required

-Always ensure the highest level of safety and safeguarding.
