The Position:

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for an experienced teaching assistant to work with a student in KS1 with ASD at a school in Newham. The candidate will be providing 1-1 support to aid the pupil's transition between KS1 and KS2. The position is full-time during term-time. The student is not violent or aggressive, but requires emotional and educational support.

What we are looking for:

We are currently looking to recruit a hard-working, passionate and experienced Teaching Assistant who has a strong grasp of the English Curriculum. We are looking to hire an individual who can commit to supporting this student until the end of the academic year. The position could also continue into the next academic year. We would like to hear from you if:

  • You are a teaching assistant with previous experience working with students with ASD
  • You have experience working with KS3/ KS4 students
  • You have a background in Special Educational Needs

Requirements:

  • You must be able to Interview and Trial for Longer Term Positions
  • You must also be in possession of a Child Workforce DBS (registered on the Update Service) or willing to apply for one
