We are looking to recruit Teaching Assistants with experience of working with children with Autism. The school we work with take in children from the ages of 4-19 covering a broad range of special educational needs but mainly Autism. The classes that you would be working in are supervised by experienced Teachers enabling you to develop strong relationships with the pupils. The SEN school that we work with is an extremely supportive and friendly environment to work in allowing you to feel part of the school community.

Having an understanding of PECS, Schedules would be beneficial. Additional training such as Autism Awareness, Team Teach and de-escalation is advantageous but not essential.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
