SEN Teaching Assistant Wanted

Your new school

This outstanding’ two form entry primary school situated near Coventry centre require a SEND Teaching Assistant to start on a full time basis, five mornings a week. This will be an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a primary school setting.

Your new role

Your new job will require you to help support a child on a 1:1 basis who has ADHD. You will be needed to help develop the pupil and implement practical strategies to ensure they feel encouraged and supported. You will have a passion for working with pupils with special educational needs and be able to support the SENCO with the child’s IEP.

What you'll need to succeed

You must hold a minimum Level 2 award in supporting teaching and learning schools. Valid experience of working with children with SEN is vital to succeed in this challenging and rewarding Teaching Assistant job. Due to the child's circumstances, Male TAs are encouraged to apply.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
