Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a lovely, one for entry primary school in the Gorton area of Manchester (M18). The school are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work in a Year 6 class with a child with ASC. The child has no behavioural challenges but requires 1:1 support to assist him with accessing the national curriculum. The school are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant who has worked with similar needs before. Experience supporting learning across KS2 would also be beneficial.
This is a one form entry primary school which prides itself on creating a 'happy and inclusive' environment for all children. The head teacher at the school is dedicated to 'bringing out the best in every child' whilst ensuring a happy and comfortable environment for both staff and children.
This is a full time teaching assistant position which will start ASAP. If you have experience supporting children with ASC and would be interested in applying for this role then you are encouraged to get in touch.

This would be a great opportunity for a candidate wanting to broaden their experience in education. The position will start ASAP and will be on going for the remainder of the academic year. The opportunity to work onto a school based contract may be possible for the right person.
