SEN Teaching Assistant – Year 4 (ASC Support)
Location: Blackpool
Start Date: Monday 3rd November (after October Half Term)
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term

Teaching Personnel are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Blackpool. This is a full-time role supporting a child in Year 4 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), starting Monday 3rd November.

As a 1:1 SEN TA, you will:

  • Provide tailored support to help the child access the curriculum and achieve their potential.

  • Implement strategies to support learning, social interaction, and emotional regulation.

  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to follow personalised learning plans.

  • Create a positive, nurturing, and structured environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience supporting children with ASC and/or additional needs.

  • Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.

  • A proactive and flexible approach to working in a school setting.

  • A genuine passion for making a difference in a child’s educational journey.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
