Art Teacher - Rochdale

Are you an inspirational Art Teacher looking for a new role from September 2019? Do you want to work in a 'Good' secondary school in Rochdale?

Teaching Personnel are seeking to recruit an Art Teacher on behalf of our partner secondary school in Rochdale who have an immediate gap in their department from September 2019. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) to find their first role in the profession, or for an experienced Teacher looking to further their career with a new challenge.

  • Full time Teacher of Art required from September 2019
  • Part time options would be considered for the perfect candidate
  • Initially on a fixed term contract until July 2020
  • Potential for permanent contract opportunities thereafter
  • Teaching Art up to GCSE level
  • Pay in line with MPS and UPS (£23,720 - £39,406)

Our partner school is a smaller than average, selective secondary school based in the Heywood area of Rochdale. In their most recent Ofsted inspection in 2017, they were rated 'Good' with students' behaviour being identified as a key strength of the school. With fewer than 700 students currently enrolled from the surrounding areas of Castleton and Heap Bridge and years of consistently good GCSE results, our partner school has an excellent reputation within the local community.

"We would like an inspirational and motivated Art Teacher to join us from September 2019 to continue the hard work and progress that our department has already made. Working alongside the rest of the department in delivering an engaging and exciting curriculum, this is a rewarding role where the successful candidate can inspire the next generation of artists." Headteacher.

Our partner secondary school has excellent facilities and the department is also serviced by a full time Art technician. Full departmental responsibilities including planning and assessment will be included within this role, and the ideal candidate will have previous experience of teaching an Art curriculum to both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

If you would like to apply for this post as an Art Teacher, please apply via the link below or send an updated CV to Chris Beckenham at Manchester North Secondary directly, alternatively call on the number provided for further information.
