A Catholic School in the Brentwood Diocese is seeking an Art Teacher

Our School
This Catholic School in East London are seeking an Art Teacher to star in a high achieving 11 -18 school with very good examination results. They have received an Educational Outcomes award for being in the top 20 percent of schools in the country for progress. The School has excellent professional development opportunities available for colleagues in a forward thinking and creative organisation.

The Post
You will be an experienced Art Teacher or Newly Qualified Teacher of Art who can plan well, teach well and mark well and assess across KS3 to KS5 in Art and have experience in teaching Art across KS3 to KS5. You will be responsible for ensuring the effective teaching and learning of students, instilling in them a love for Art. The school is looking for an exceptional teacher who can create a supportive, encouraging and safe learning environment for all pupils of diverse backgrounds and abilities. Requirements are as listed below;

  • QTS or PGCE.
  • Degree in Art or similar subject.
  • Experience as an Art Teacher at KS3, KS4 and KS5.
  • There is no religious requirement for this role, however you must respect the catholic ethos
