An alternative provision in central Manchester that is looking for a full-time admin assistant to start as soon as possible. The school works with children with various social, emotional, and mental health needs, and so requires all administration staff to have some knowledge of these needs and a good understanding of safeguarding and GDPR.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist school business director in maintaining effective support within the school
  • Maintain and update all administrative systems and processes as required
  • Arrange meetings and events and take notes to a high standard
  • Maintain pupil records and use IT systems to provide reports and statistics
  • Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of all information produced

Required skills and experience

  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills to accurately complete and maintain records
  • Good communication skills for effective interaction with service users, colleagues and members of the public
  • Personal commitment to the school's professional standards
  • Previous administration experience and understanding of the role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
