School Administrator – Permanent Position

Are you organised, friendly, and passionate about supporting a thriving school environment? We are looking for a dedicated School Administrator to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day running of our school.
This is a permanent position, and we welcome applications from individuals at all levels of experience—whether you’re an experienced administrator or someone just starting out. We also offer administration apprenticeship opportunities, providing full training, development, and a clear pathway to long‑term career progression.
About the Role
As a School Administrator, you will be a vital point of contact for staff, parents, pupils, and external visitors. You will ensure that school operations run efficiently, supporting a positive and welcoming environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing administrative support to senior leaders, teachers, and wider school staff
- Managing phone and email enquiries and greeting visitors at reception
- Maintaining accurate student records and handling confidential information
- Supporting attendance monitoring and data entry
- Assisting with arranging meetings, events, and school activities
- Producing documents, letters, and reports as required
- Supporting financial and resource administration (training provided)

Ideal candidates will have:
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence using IT systems (training provided)
- A proactive, flexible, and positive attitude
- The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
