Teaching Assistant required to support Children in Wakefield

Teaching Personnel are working closely alongside PRUs and EBD schools in the Wakefield area, West Yorkshire and we are looking to appoint Specialist support workers to engage with the pupils and develop communication skills to reintegrate them back into mainstream settings.

A Team-Teach qualification or relevant qualification (e.g. MAPA) are highly desirable but not essential. Teaching Personnel also offer a range of CPD courses including Team-Teach, Introduction to Autism and Moving and Handling and we are partnered with Leeds Trinity University who support us with upskilling all our candidates.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
