ALN Teaching Assistant

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Additional Learning Needs Teaching specialist for our schools. As an ALN, you will play a crucial role in providing support and guidance to pupils with diverse learning needs.

•              Day Rate: - £77 Per day

•              Duration: Full Time / 8.20am – 15.15pm

•              Location: – Cardiff, United Kingdom

•              Start Date: ASAP

What will be my Responsibilities?

• Collaboration with classroom teachers to plan and deliver tailored educational activities, ensuring they are engaging and accessible for children with ALN (Additional Learning Needs)
• Provide 1:1 or small group support to students, helping with classwork, assignments, and projects.
• Adopt a positive and inclusive learning environment to support and develop educational growth.
• Develop and implement personalized learning plans for pupils.

What will you need?


In this role you will need to play a key and pivotal role in providing invaluable 1:1 support to children with a range of Additional Learning Needs, including challenging behaviour, ensuring they receive an inclusive and enlightening educational experience.

-          Educational Workforce Council registered. (EWC)

-          Right to Work in the UK

-          Previous employment references

Key Skills Required

• Previous experience working with children with additional learning needs is highly desirable.
• Possess a patient and empathetic approach, with the ability to build strong rapport with children from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Psychology students / Grads encouraged
