ALN Teaching Assistant
We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Additional Learning Needs Teaching specialist for our schools. As an ALN, you will play a crucial role in providing support and guidance to pupils with diverse learning needs.

• Day Rate: - £77 Per day
• Duration: Full Time / 8.20am – 15.15pm
• Location: – Cardiff, United Kingdom
• Start Date: ASAP
What will be my Responsibilities?
- Collaboration with classroom teachers to plan and deliver tailored educational activities, ensuring they are engaging and accessible for children with ALN (Additional Learning Needs)
- Provide 1:1 or small group support to students, helping with classwork, assignments, and projects.
- Adopt a positive and inclusive learning environment to support and develop educational growth.
- Develop and implement personalized learning plans for pupils.
What will you need?
In this role you will need to play a key and pivotal role in providing invaluable 1:1 support to children with a range of Additional Learning Needs, including challenging behaviour, ensuring they receive an inclusive and enlightening educational experience.
- Enhanced Child Only DBS
- Educational Workforce Council registered. (EWC)
- Right to Work in the UK
- Previous employment references
Key Skills Required
- Previous experience working with children with additional learning needs is highly desirable.
- Possess a patient and empathetic approach, with the ability to build strong rapport with children from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Psychology students / Grads encouraged

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
